viper remote start turns over but wont start

It can open and close the doors still tho. I tried it multiple times without success. Not a guarantee that this is the issues, but based on your description, it is where I would start. After researching and finally finding the proper transmitter, I was able to figure out the programming sequence (at least I think I have). post on battery no help. As guided in prior comments, will research brand of remote start which dealer had installed for me 10 years ago at time of purchase. I found a 22k and that worked so used that between the brake pedal wire (12v when pressed) and the remote start unit which happens to be a coolstart RS900 V installed in a 2000 Suburban. i have a viper alarm system i had recently installed some new led tail lights accidently wired it backwords but they were working fine so i connected everything back normal how it should be and now i try to turn on my remote start like it turns lights and everything for like a second then shuts off and dosent turn on the car or nothing my control sends back a response saying it didnt turn oncould it be my brake light switch or something got messed up and need to be replacedunlock and lock still works my security system just to remote start acts up. The unit will go through the sequence to start, crank the engine for 0.5 seconds and stop.
